Heritage walk: Fountainhas,Panjim
Fountainhas is the Latin square in Panjim. This area has preserved houses from 18 th and 19th centuries, which were built in the Portuguese style of architecture. The colors and the architecture of the houses give you the feel of a Mediterranean city.
The houses look elegant and newly painted as it’s mandatory for the people to paint their houses every year after the monsoon. This is one of the ways of preserving the cultural heritage. The whole area stands for cultural inheritance and if one wants to know more, a heritage walk can give you a
